It's the citadel of Heuneburg, one of the important Early Celtic sites in Central Europe, which is located in Herbertingen, Baden Württemberg, Germany.

The site was founded around 15th century BCE, but the Early Celtic period is the famous one, the time between the 7th to 5th centuries BCE.
Very unusual is the about 4 m high mud-brick wall of the citadel (around 600 BCE), which has no parallels north of the Alps. It's an imitation contemporary walls in the Mediterranean region.Ferhan Sakalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16832741945321564800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2357316514436369105.post-55379587202688269532009-04-27T10:32:00.000+01:002009-04-27T10:32:00.000+01:00. . . there may be lots of postholes there, or few.... . . there may be lots of postholes there, or fewer than might be expected, - I had thought of posting Woodhenge - but I would have insisted on a correct interpretation!
